Carbon Zapp MTBR

Compact test bench for professionals which supports all modern diesel injection systems on the market from vehicles and industrial machinery.
Carbon Zapp MTBR/e tests all types and brands of CRDi injectors, CR pumps, unit injectors EUI, unit pumps EUP and HEUI systems.

The test bench is available in three versions:
- MTBR/p - test bench only for Common Rail pumps without the possibility of expanding to other components
- MTBR/i - test bench only for Common Rail injectors without the possibility of expanding to other components
- MTBR/e - an universal test bench, which supports all types of add-ons.

August 2017 - Carbon Zapp MTBR/e test bench is in our laboratory!
The device is now available. We accept orders.

MTBR/e test bench generates pressure up to 2800Bar for Common Rail system. The MTBR/e standard equipment includes an electronically opening protective cover. MTBR is powered by three-phase mains, it doesn't require compressed air connection. Test bench is air-cooled and therefore does not require connection with water / sewage. For CR pump testing test bench is equipped with a static weight measurement system. For testing CR injectors, unit Injector and HEUI systems test bench uses the built-in dynamic weight measurement system. Test bench operates in fully automatic mode and enables fast testing of diesel components. The testbench is configured for the needs of the customer by choosing the appropriate adapter and adapters. The steering board is fully protected from being damaged when connecting a component with a short-circuit between pins or to the ground. The information is displayed on the 15" touch screen with Android. Reports can be printed via WiFi, send to Dropbox, etc., or saved in PDF on pendrive. Software and the database is automatically updated via WiFi. As in all other Carbon Zapp devices, software and its updates, including databases are free. The usage of all testbench functions, including generating of new codes for injectors proceeds without the need to purchase "credits", as is the case in some devices of other companies. MTBR had its world premiere at the Automechanika Frankfurt in 2016.

Common Rail injectors and HEUI systems add-on

Testowanie wtryskiwaczy Common Rail na stole probierczym Carbon Zapp MTBR

Carbon Zapp MTBR/e testbench in the field of Common Rail Injectors performs the same function as the device CRU4R.
At one time, it can test up to 4 CR injectors.
An extensive database for most injectors CR Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Siemens VDO Continental is the basis for the evaluation of the parameters after the test. The device encodes injectors Bosch coil and piezo IMA / ISA and Delphi C2i (16 character) and C3i (20 character). After latest update it can generate codes also for Denso and Siemens / Continental (optional).
Testing procedure of CR injector consists of the following steps: electrical test, checking for leaks, automatic nozzle leak test, static return flow, automatic checking the opening pressure, the test of injection doses and returns on various loads, dose increments at a specified pressure (Delphi), response time test, spraying pattern in the overpressure chamber.
MTBR has the function of revitalization piezo stack for Siemens VDO Conti injectors - 4 at one time.
Testbench is equipped with a fuel system for testing, but does not have the cleaning detergent option - for this function, use smaller Carbon Zapp devices.

By using the expansion of adapters and other necessary items can also be tested to 4 hydraulically controlled unit injectors from HEUI system at one time, eg. Caterpillar.

Cambox - add-on for unit injectors EUI, PDE & unit pumps PLD

MTBR/e in conjunction with the add-on called Cambox allows the test of unit injectors from passanger cars and trucks of all types. MTBR also tests unit pumps from PLD system.
A wide range of adapters, records and profiles to control unit injectors and pumps makes this testbench one of its kind. In addition to Bosch unit injectors and pumps it can test other components like piezo unit injectors - Siemens VDO from VW group, Delphi injectors from Volvo trucks, Delphi PLD pumps from DAF, Caterpillar and other injectors. Carbon Zapp MTBR is a comprehensive solution for all types of unit injectors at one station.

Unit injectors in passanger cars like VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda had been used from 1998. Their biggest market share in injection systems for VW engines is the period 2001-2008, and on some models they were used even by 2011.
This means a powerful market for testing and remanufacture of the Bosch unit injectors from passenger cars, both first and second generation.
Electromagnetic unit injectors of second and third generation are used on a large scale in many brands of trucks, for example. Scania, Volvo, Iveco to the present day.
Cambox device along with Carbon Zapp MTBR-E test bench paves the way for testing and remanufacture of these components on the highest level.
The transmission takes place through appropriately designed camshaft. By using of special adapters selected with the assistance of the diagnostic software of test bench it is possible to test all unit injectors with their parameters measured and printed.
The test consist of measuring injection doses in several loads at different speeds and the moment of occurrence of the current signal curve bend, so called BIP signal denoting the closing time of the control valve. Each test parameter reffers to the database with the given tolerance. The test bench evaluates each parameter automatically.

Cambox also allows testing of UP unit pumps from PLD systems used in trucks - more information in the Diesel pumps laboratory section.
